Mid January I had a great visit to Calgary to visit my sister Lisa and her family (Ed, Megan and Krista). The weather was great, and so were the malls! And the movies! And the food! Pictures will be added soon, when I get my monitor back from being repaired so that I can use the other computer to download photos (yadda yadda yadda).
Lisa has a new job working with distribution of major motion pictures (plus all the associated advertisements, trailers etc), so we got to enjoy some free tickets to "Miss Potter" - the story of the children's author Beatrix Potter. I enjoyed the stories as a child (hey Mom, remember Mrs. Tiggeywinkle the Hedgehog?), and now as an adult.
We are lucky enough to have a rare copy of a not so "gentle" Beatrix Potter story called "The Fierce Bad Rabbit" which is a bit of a morality play on thievery and a rabbit getting his whiskers and tail shot off!
Ewan isn't quite ready for that one yet!
