Our Trip to Manning Park

A few weeks ago we took 2 whole days off in a row, and headed up to Manning Park! We rented one of the smaller cabins that allows dogs, and had a pretty good time. Not being able to be reached by cel phone helped a LOT!



The snow was definitely melting, and the official snow play facilities are closed for the year, but there was still a lot to play in and to do.

We even had some fresh snow on Sunday!

This is our not too spacious cabin - it wasn't big but it had all that we needed.

Ewan really enjoyed the bunk beds, and doing a bit of fishing. He NEEDED to sleep on a top bed.
And he needed his picture taken with the dogs :)
We had a great meal at the restaurant - fish and chips for Chris, mac and cheese for Ewan and really amazing ribs for me! Then, I had dessert. The dark ellipsoids are chocolate. The dots are raspberry sauce, and the orange coloured puddle in the middle is mango puree. It was OK.
I didn't lick the plate since it was a pretty fancy restaurant :)
